Consult your technical representative to determine the proper use of sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach). Soak fabrics in a container with 500 ml of chlorine bleach for every 20 litres of water.
Allow time for the chlorine to work. After the fabrics have been destained, add the Vestec 995 to neutralize any residual chlorine.
Add 250 ml of Vestec 995 for every 500 ml of chlorine used.
Check with chlorine test paper to ensure there is no bleach present.
NEVER POUR CHLORINE BLEACH SOLUTION in the drain. /p>
In some situations, bleach can react with other ingredients in the waste stream to form chloroform. In addition, it reduces the amount of residual chlorine in the waste system.
